This book is written in a progression of healing from emotional scars, referred to as the little foxes. These foxes steal our peace and disrupts us from bearing spiritual fruit, as referred to in Galatians 5:22–23. “The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, faith, and temperance.” The foxes or wounds we carry are wrapped in anger.
All anger is wrapped in fear. I list the ten fears, starting with the fear of abandonment. I call these fears the codependent fears. The fear of abandonment says, “You didn’t meet my needs.” The antidote is no one was created to meet all your needs. As you work through the book, you realize that you are on a journey into a deeper walk with Christ.
In the book, we cover poor boundaries, the roles we play in dysfunctional families, finding faith for your journey, and God’s covenant with us. We talk about forgiveness and coming to grips with the fires in our life.
